Description
Note: The Good Friday Scripture Lunch Guide is a digital product. You will receive a PDF file to download and print. No physical product will be shipped to you.
This printable guide for my Good Friday Scripture lunch for kids is 12 pages and includes everything you need to know to set up your own meaningful lunch for kids. This lunch walks you through the entire story of the Passion of Christ with each food symbolizing a part of the story.
NOTE: This download is included in The Symbolic Holy Week & Easter Cookbook, so if you already have that, you already have access to this guide.
This 12 page download includes:
- An introduction to the Good Friday Scripture Lunch
- Directions on how to set it up
- A printable shopping list for the needed items
- The Scripture to read to kids that corelates to each symbolic food
- Table display cards that stand up (like a place card) and name each food, identify the what it symbolizes, and includes the Scripture verse number that goes with that part of the story.
- A bookmark with the Scripture verse numbers of each reading. This way if you want to read the verses from your own Bible, this will make it easy for you to do so!
This is truly one of my favorite resources I have ever developed and I love having this lunch with my kids year after year. It is a treasured and meaningful family tradition here, and now this download makes it easier to do than ever. It makes my heart so happy to finally have this available as an easy to use download.
I hope these recipes and fun edible activities bless your family as they have mine.
As always, thank you so much for your support of Catholic Icing! By purchasing the products here, you are helping to fund future resources for Catholic kids.
Purchasing Options
There is an option for one family or one classroom. The classroom option covers 25 children. If you need to use this with multiple classrooms or in a group, please purchase one copy for every 25 children. If you purchase this for your family, you should not share it with other families.
There is an option for a whole school or a whole parish. If you purchase this option, you may only use it within one single school or parish/religious education program.
Note: If you have a smaller parish or school, you may purchase multiple copies of the one family/single classroom version for every 25 children instead of the whole school/whole parish option. For example: if your religious education program has 100 children that you want to use a project with, you can purchase four copies of the family/single classroom option instead of a whole school/whole parish option.
